We love this playground! It's our local and we visit at least once a week. The equipment is perfect for my 3 and 6 year olds, with enough variety to keep them entertained for hours. The rubber surfacing makes it usable even after rain, which is a huge plus in London. The surrounding common is beautiful for a walk afterward, and we often bring a picnic when the weather is nice. It can get busy on weekends but never feels overcrowded.
This playground is good but could be better for older children. My 9 and 11 year olds found it a bit too simple after about 20 minutes. The equipment is clearly aimed at younger kids, which is fine, but worth noting if you have older children. It's well maintained and clean, and the location on the common is lovely. The lack of toilets nearby is inconvenient - we had to walk to the café which is quite a distance away. Overall, it's a nice playground but best for the under 8s.
A really nice local playground that serves the community well. The equipment is varied and suitable for different ages - my toddler loves the small slides and spring rockers, while my 5-year-old enjoys the climbing frame. The rubber surfacing is great as it means we can visit year-round without getting muddy. It would be perfect if there were more shaded areas for hot summer days, as it can get very sunny with limited tree cover over the actual play equipment. The benches for parents are well-placed and there's a friendly atmosphere with local families regularly meeting up here.
