Battersea Park Adventure Playground is one of London's best outdoor play spaces, designed to inspire creativity and physical activity in children. Set within the beautiful surroundings of Battersea Park, this adventure playground offers a range of exciting play equipment and activities suitable for children aged 3-10 years.
The playground features impressive wooden climbing structures, slides of various heights, swings, a water play area (seasonal), sandpits, and imaginative play spaces. All equipment is regularly maintained and safety-checked to ensure a secure environment for children to explore and enjoy.
What makes this playground special is its natural setting and the way it encourages children to challenge themselves physically while developing social skills through interactive play. The adventure playground is supervised by trained play workers during peak times who are on hand to ensure safety while allowing children the freedom to play independently.

Perfect day out for active kids!
We spent the whole day here and my kids (ages 4 and 7) absolutely loved it! The adventure playground is fantastic with so many different areas to explore. The water play section was a big hit on a hot day. Plenty of places to sit and have a picnic too. The climbing structures are well-maintained and challenging enough for my 7-year-old while still having easier options for my younger one. Definitely bringing them back soon!

Great playground but gets very busy
This is definitely one of the best playgrounds in London. My 5-year-old twins had a fantastic time on the climbing frames and slides. The only downside is how busy it gets on weekends - we went on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed! Would recommend going early in the morning or on a weekday if possible. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and there's enough variety to keep children entertained for hours.

A wonderful free activity in Wandsworth
As a local parent, this playground is a lifesaver! It's completely free and offers hours of entertainment. My 8-year-old loves the challenging climbing structures while my 3-year-old enjoys the smaller slides and sand area. The water play section is fantastic in summer - just remember to bring towels and a change of clothes! The playground staff are friendly and helpful. The only improvement would be more shaded areas for hot days.
